THE

RIDE

The RIDE is MBTA’s door-to-door, shared-ride paratransit service. The RIDE is operated by the MBTA in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

It is not difficult to apply for The RIDE. The application process includes an in-person interview that lasts approximately 30 minutes. If you need help with the application process, please contact Raymond Fox.

Uber and Lyft are now contracting with MBTA's The RIDE in a pilot program. You can only avail this program after having been found eligible for The Ride.

 

You need a credit/debit card to sign up with either Lyft or Uber.
